which bass guitar should i get the pete wentz fender squire p-bass or a reg fender squire p-bass?

i like the pete wentz because of the color and will prob be a collectible in the future
but it does not have a tone nob only a volume
i like to play music that ppl would consider gay like fall out boy and hawethorne heights so i figured that this guitar somewhat fit my personality
the p-bass is pretty standard
id prob get black and white it has a tone knob and is cheaper in price but the price isnt a big deal
i used to play a six string eppiphone guitar but i want to play bass i just never did becasue i got the eppiphone for almost free so i learned that but i find it complicated so i want to play bass so im a bass beginer with knowlege of guitars
which one do u think i should get
the pete wentz bass is gonna give you one sound – fall out boy
a regular p bass will give you a lot wider ranger of tones and sounds
go with the regular p bass youll like it waaay better in the long run
