What guitar should I get?

Gibson Studio Les paul
Fender American Strat
Around this price range
Or even repair an old piece of shit vintage one or build one.
I play mostly classic rock and blues.
Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I personally don’t like the maple fretboards on most fenders. Once you wear away the finish, they discolor and look bad, so I would personally go for the rosewood fretboard, you can get a fender with rosewood. I would highly suggest that you go play them all and decide what you are comfortable with. The gridge on these gibsons is high off the guitar which is a problem for some young thrashers, they tear thier fingers off on the strings. A les paul is really heavy and if you are a little person they will bring the back ache in about 20 mins. The strat has 3 single coil pick-ups, so compared to the gibsons humbuckers, they are noisey. All this is to say that you had better hold/play them before you just mail-order one at random.
