Eddie Van Halen guitar wiring help?

You can have the body painted and all, now electronics. I left the three single coil pickups. I have a van EVH Custom ready to go. Now the installation, which is the hard part. If I dropped the tone pots (as Eddie) then theoretically not have a right capacitor? And they also say that I started as a quiet time extra fender single coil in the neck that DID work, and wired to the pot and the volume switch and then making … Eddie's how you did it right? I know it's more wrong my bad. ALSO, I know that attracting the eddies of the neck was inactive, I'm trying to attempt to wire both single coil and humbucker to a three way switch. A little different from its original design, but is still working?

It's no problem connecting the two pads to a selector switch and bypass the tone pot. Here is a wiring diagram for two humbuckers with 3-way switch volume only: http://www.guitarelectronics.com/product/WD2HH3T10_00/Guitar_Wiring_Diagram_2_Humbuckers3Way_Lever_Switch1_Volume0Tone000.html For the purpose of wiring, you can simply the treatment of a single coil humbucker. There are only two wires instead of four. The nude (stranded) wire goes to ground and the insulated wire to a pole outdoors in 3-way switch. You are correct about the capacitors … are only used for the tone pot.
