How I can put a touch of harvest in a MIM start neck?

I have a standard MIM rosewood fingerboard of the guitar, but I like to watch Bleached maple neck rest. what would all the steps necessary to give a final amber vintage? I want to keep the Fender logo and number series, is that all possible?

Hello! Take a look at the lacquer Stewart-MacDonald Guitar Vintage Amber http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Finishing_supplies/Finishes_and_solvents/2/ColorTone_Aerosol_Guitar_Lacquer/Instructions/I-5880.html aerosol detail #. They also include instructions also are available to answer any questions in detail for your specific application. My guess is that you may have to rough up the neck slightly existing surfaces with fine sandpaper or steel wool (being very careful about the sticker!), but should not be a difficult process. Good luck with your project! Best Regards, Dana
