Fender Twin?
I have a fender twin reverb and a Gibson Es 333 (similar to a gibson 335) and i am looking to get some dirty sounds. I also have a pod. I am looking for some good heavy blues, a little distorted, without taking away from the classic twin reverb sound. Im having trouble! I use a little distortion now, some drive and a lil reverb but im still not quite getting the sound i want. Looking for a Clatpon (derek and the dominoes era/ Crossroads cream) or like a heavy blues similar to SRV. I know this is difficult with a hollowbody, just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. The axe i got is verrrry good for Jazz, and blues, but not heavy blues.
I think Digitech actually makes a Crossroads stomp box. An EQ pedal might help, too.
