Fender Twin Amp vs. Bassman???!?
Please help me out… even though it will come down to which I like best. Yesterday I sat 3 hours switching back and forth between the Twin Amp and the Bassman, and can’t decide. The Bassman has got such personality and such a great warm, mid-range tone, BUT I don’t like the bright channel. I find the Twin to be more versatile, and sounds great as well, but I can’t get that Bassman tone out of my head. I play country and blues and rock, and I know guitarists use both amps… If I decide to go with the Twin, is there any way to emulate that Bassman sound by tweeking the controls?
