Fender Squier standard start of fat?
How good is a Fender Squier Start by fat standard for a beginner? How much should I pay why? (A new) is a good choice or if you have any other recommendation?
Retail in a Squier Fat Start is about $ 150 new. Honestly, I would save a few dollars and buy used. Squier Strats are fairly easy to play and I always thought you're a decent beginner guitar. The main problem with them is that the tuners which are quite cheap and do not hold tuning very well. Of course, in that price range is hard to find a guitar that does it. One advantage is that fat Strats have a humbucker in the bridge (the van with two coils) so that the sound a little fatter and more comprehensive than Typical Strats, as well as individual reels. If the onset of fat did not do it for you, I also check out Epiphone Les Paul Special or Epiphones others.
