What is the purpose of collecting cover Fender Jazz bass neck?
I have a model of Marcus Miller, four strings and did not really know what it was. Noted only slight changes in tone when playing above and below it.

The split style pickups used in low precision have a humbucking effect, Seth Lover humbucker style guitar has not proved popular for bass, guitar amplifiers can use a notch filter to reduce 60hz band, but this approach is counterproductive in a bass.
