For Christmas, should I ask for a new guitar or a new ipod?
You see, I have currently own an really old guitar (from the 60s) that has been used by two people before me. A string just broke, and the pickups are broken. I have other electric guitars of my dads around the house and some acoustics. I’m just learning, so my dad offered to buy me one of those Fender Squire kits with the amp included for like $400.
I also have an iPod shuffle thats three years old. It’s scratched up, only carries 200 songs, and has no screen. I’ve been wanting a new iPod for a really long time. I’m looking at the new nano and the old touch, both between $150-209.
So I’m thinking, which one should I ask for? I’d ask for the other one for my birthday in April.

Yo Sun, I’m only 14. =] I can’t drive in NJ until 17 (maybe 18 by the time I get there.)
Yeah, I agree with Al. Get the guitar.
Besides, iPods are practically disposable these days. Apple comes out with new versions almost every year, making the one you have obsolete. Guitars hold their value a lot longer than that.
