Your answer lies in how much you love music. If you are trying to learn how to play, and don’t care how good it sounds, then buy both the amp and guitar. I learned how to play on a similar squire, but I soon found that I wanted a lot nicer of a guitar. There is a huge difference between a Squire, and a real Strat. I’m guessing your budget won’t allow that, so to answer your question, in this price range no matter what you buy is gonna be about the same quality. But please get into the habit of playing things before you buy them. At least then you’ll know what you’re getting ahead of time.
