I have a Squier Strat Fender Electric Guitar, How do i make it sound Metal?

My Amplifier is also Fender the options on it are:
Low: -15 to +15
Mid : -15 to +15
High: -15 to +15
How do i set it to sound like Metal (The Genre: Metal)

yeah basically what jason said. if you don’t mind spending a bit of money on a higher quality brand of guitar FX pedals a good brand to go for would probably be boss. they make good pedals. but to be honest I started of with a squire and it isn’t metal at all. it is a good starting point.

Maybe if you get better and you want to get a new guitar you should get one with “humbucker pickups” they have more power and therefore better output. (it’s what all metal bands use to make a heavier tone.)

and try going to some guitar amp websites like marshall. they have been around for years and are very likely to give you some ways of setting up your amp
