Squier by fender strat or Epiphone les paul?????

i have bout $300 and im looking for an electric guitar

Personally I have a Epiphone Les paul custon alpine white.

however you need to find what kind of tone you really like in a guitar. Have you tested out each guitar yet?

If not I suggest the best way to determine which guitar you want is to go to guitar center and test each one out full. WHich means test out different tones. Use the different switches experiment with each guitar with the tone knob all the way to 10 and all the way down to 0. Test out every possibilty of tone for each guitar. Usually if you like full meaty tone then the Epiphone will do it. If you like the sound of a single coil pickup go for the squier. Another thing is if you want a wammy bar or not. And the last thing is the headstock. THe epiphone WILL have mor sustain than the squier because the headstock is angled back but with the squier its headstock is traight up that ‘s because it needs to stay in tune when you use the wammy bar.

Also what kind of music do you like to play also determines what guitar you would like.
