Cheapest Les Paul Electric Guitar?
What is the cheapest Les Paul made by Epiphone or Gibson beside the Epiphone LP Special II? I want a cheap les paul but I hear the epiphone LP special II sucks and has terrible tuners. No foreign or brand knockoffs, just the real epiphone or gibson. Thanks.
PS- Does anyone know how much the new epiphone Slash Les Paul Goldtop costs?

Another question for anyone: Whats the difference between Epiphone Les Paul 100 and Epiphone les paul studio?
Les Paul studios are more for studio work-they are very heavy. LP-100′s are more stage guitars. the 100 is basicly a Special II, but with fancier stuff on it, like a mustang and a mustang GT. With Gibson, you are just paying for the name, anyways. If you want a truly cheap Les Paul, get the Epi Les Paul JR. The Slash signature runs for around $1000. Look into a Samick Greg Bennett Avion. They are not cheap knock-off Les Pauls. Greg Bennett was a Gibson Les Paul designer for 30 years. Go to a guitar dealer and try one.
