new fender amp
Would a Fender Rumble 60W or a Behringer K1800FX 180W keyboard amp be better for a hobby keyboardist?
I have to option to buy a used Fender Rumble 60W bass amp or a new Beringer 180W K1800FX keyboard amp new for $280 (including tax, etc). Which would be better for jam sessions, with the possibility of small gigging. Naturally, I assume that 60W would be insufficient power for gigging, but I question the quality of a $280 180 watt amp.
Seeming to be unanimous. I’d still welcome more opinions, though
Don’t be swayed by the price — Beringer makes good stuff. Besides, a bass amp won’t be able to produce the entire sound spectrum as well as a keyboard amp. Get the Beringer. You can thank me later.
