mexican fender stratocaster price
Guitar..Fender or Epiphone.?
I am deciding between two guitars. I do not yet own one, but have been learning for a while and am going to buy my first electric.
I am between a Mexican Fender Stratocaster and an Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul.
From what I have read, the Mexi Fender is a good guitar. I know its nowhere near an American, however it is in my price range.
I also have stumbled accross a blemished Epiphone Les Paul Limited for the same price. Is the Les Paul by Epiphone a quality guitar, or are the pick-ups and hardware garbage? Answers and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I personally like the Mexican made Fender guitars more than the American made ones. in fact, the only reason why American made Fender is more expensive is because labor in America is more expensive compared to other countries.
A few reasons why i choose the Fender Strat over Epiphone Les Paul
1. Fender is sure to last you a lifetime, (even longer)
2. Fender guitars are put together with all original Fender parts. (Epiphone uses a collection of parts that didn’t quite meet the expectations of a real Gibson)
3. The Strat has more features (Whammy Bar)
4. Most strats use a 5 way switch.
I think the les paul only has 3?
5. Epiphone is out of Fender’s league.
