Looking for first electric guitar, help!?

I am going to get my first guitar soon, I want an electric, I was at fye today, and they had several guitars, the seemed real nice and a good price, I dont want to spend a ton in case its not for me, they have a Gibson Baldwin Signature LP for $150, a Gibson Maestro Lp with gig bag, mini amp, picks, etc for $170, and a Gibson signature SG series for $150, all 5 year warranty, and gibson is a good brand from what I hear, they sounds fairly good on youtube, let me know if and what one of these is the best.

I wouldn’t start off with a Gibson. They’re great guitars, and the ones you’ve listed are cheap, however they’re still too advanced for you, and I wouldn’t trust YouTube a whole lot. For a beginer guitar, I would try a Squire. Squire makes Fender (An amazing guitar brand) copies, with Fender’s permission, and usually comes with a Fender certifited certificate or something. Stratocastor or Telecastor would be good. The usually don’t got more that $300 for the standards, and they’re well built guitars.

Have fun!
