left handed gibson 335

Can I switch the pickguard on a Gibson ES-335?
I am thinking about purchasing a Gibson ES-335 guitar. However, I play left handed and it’s difficult to even find left handed guitars, and if I do they cost more. I’m going to get a righty and switch the strings, and I was wondering if anyone knows if the pickguard can be switched to the other side of the guitar, since I will be playing it upside down
Yes, you can switch the pickguard but the pots will still be on top.
Their might be a slight modification although technically, it will fit but here is the problem. You will have the front of the pickguard int he back and the back in the front since you are flipping the pickguard and not just turning it
You can but a pickguard ready-made for the left-handed givson Es335.
