How do I make my own fiberglass body kit?
Ok first off, I am basing my car off the crazy looking orange RX7 in the new fast and the furious. I have already made new door skins for my 95 civic, IT TURNED OUT AWSOME! It looks exactly like the doors on the movie. How do I go about making the quarters and the fenders? How do I make my mold and what do I use to make it? How do i make everything line up? I know its going to take a long time, and I don’t care, I am very determined, and this will be unique. I have all the tools i need, and if i don’t have them I can get them. i am make a body kit for my 77 280z but i am using floral foam (stryofoam) i bonded pins on the body to hold foam the shaped it the way i wanted it (sanding and pressing) i then layed fiberglass over this let it dry then took of foam and attached fiber glass to the body and pins with fiberglass resin this should work 4 you also(the only problem i c down the line is the fiberglass may crack where it was attached to the metal but time will tell)
