Gibson Firebird vs Gibson SG?
kk this is the last question i ask about guitars
so i came down to two Gibson Firebird vii or Gibson SG Angus Young signature
i play kinds of music like Green Day, Rise Against, The All-American Rejects, Jimmy Eat World, Sum 41. which one is more suitable for Alternative rock, powerpop
the SG is definately more suited for hard rock, its less versatile than the firebird..
of course, there are many mods you can do to create a more punk rock type sound with either guitar such as changing pickups and what strings, amps, pedals you use and whatnot, i would go with the firebird if i were you.
the firebird VII is a more versatile guitar for punk rock, alt, and powerpop
