Gibson Epiphone Custom or Studio?

I decide on a new guitar (electric first buyin) and I am Of course I want a Les Paul. I could not buy custom Epiphone (Alphin white) or Gibson Studio. I do not know what is best because the customs are generally better, but the company is better Gibson Epiphone and what are the differences between the practice and study? that I do?
