i honestly cant tell this one cause Gibson SG Standard VOS is custom made and SG Supreme is sexy
Hello again. If you can try them, go with what feels the best. I have a feeling the custom shop stuff will hold it’s value better over time. Craftsmanship is so much more important than looks. Your average Les Paul or SG might have an hour of human time on it at most. It’s all machine made. I have a feeling the supremes are not much better, just prettier. If you can afford the custom shop guitar go for it. It’s plenty sexy to a real musician. It will just get better with age. I think the supreme might loose it’s appeal over the long term. Once you get over the initial high of owning it. You are paying a LOT more for a bit of maple veneer and a colored finish. Why not pay for some real human skill and care?
