I really dont know…the first one is beautiful, but i dont know much about epiphone guitars. The second one is awesome, but expensive. I have about $1300 to spend on a guitar…i’ve been saving up :)
i will have to do a ton of babysitting to get the second one…is it worth it?
this isnt my first, my first was a piece of junk. A cheep Ibanaz (idk how to spell it)
and i have an alvarez acoustic. My cheep electric broke from 1 year of use and i need a new one

Hello there,

Depending on how long you have played and how you intend to use the guitar, would impact the answer. If you play for personal pleasure that is one thing. If you travel with a band or do studio recordings, that is an entirely different matter.

Assuming you play primarily for personal pleasure and maybe play a little with a band, I would guess you would be happy with either.

I have owned Gibson guitars and Epiphone guitars. Generally, those carrying the Gibson brand label are better quality. However, you do have to be rather skilled to notice the difference. I have played some wonderful sounding Epiphones.

Unless you have plans for recording or playing with a serious (professional ) band, I think the Epiphone will satisfy your needs.

The best part of this is that there is no wrong answer. Most likely you will be very happy with either guitar. Both will be an upgrade from what you had.

Good luck,
