How do i get the slash (guns n roses(classic))sound?

hi im buying a gibson les paul but i need a good amp and maybe foot pedal.im thinkin about gettin the slash pedal but can you guys name some cheaper amps that have that good slash sound?also i dont know what tubes and distortion and watts and all that stuff means so if ya could explain those to me i would appreciate it.im only in the 7th grade lol.

in a lot of Slash solos he uses his rhythm pick up. just flip the toggle switch up to rhythm. Slash uses Gibsons and Marshalls. for a list of equipment go to his Wiki page.
Tubes are the things inside the amp that produce the sound. only some amps have them.usually modeling amps that copy other amps.
Distortion is the fuzz thats over the tone.
Watts are the power of the amp i believe. im not a gear junkie so i don’t pay attention to that all too much
