Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar- 799$
Or
Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top Electric Guitar- 549$
If there are any other Les Pauls in the 500-800 price range tell me and tell me if they are better

it depends on whether you want to mainly perform or record. if you want a solid recording instrument – go for the studio.

the other will be a hot pick as well.

i personally prefer SG’s to the les paul. just my humble opinion.
