Epiphone Les Paul Standard not have flat tops or have high arches??
I spoke with both the highlands and the top. The only flat-top or does it stand as the high end Gibson?
Both are engraved "caps" The difference between the guitars, is that Gibson is handmade in the USA, better use of quality wood, which heals better and longer, the U.S. better use microphones and electronics. The ears are the best made in Japan, most of them use the U.S. mail, Gibson. The next are those in Korea, good value for money, the Cheapies made in China, I do not like bad grades of wood, etc. The more discounts LP used to have a flat, uncarved top, maple unlimited, but I've seen some of the carved use LP Special Epis superior. I think the Gibson LP Special always use the flat top, but as Gibson jumps now, I guarantee it.
