gibson single coil pickups

vg stratocaster vs robot les paul?
personally, fender strats have always been my favorite (from their single coil pickups to their beautiful headstocks)
but i must admit versatility hasn’t always been in a fender strat
this isn’t the case with the new vg strat with telecaster, stratocaster, humbucker (les paul pickups), and acoustic pickups simply amazing
on the other hand
we all know gibson felt threatened, so they answered back with a robot les paul
automatically a tuner for your guitar
i guess its a manly guitar for the lazies
but idk
what do you think?
The VG Strat would be much better.
For one, you get the quality of all Fender products.
Secondly, you get sounds of both Strats and Teles–two of the most versatile guitars out there (both are great for metal, rock, blues, jazz, rockabilly, western swing, etc. The Tele is just a bit more versatile with a better country sound). You also get alternate tunings, a dobro effect and a 12-string effect. From what I’ve seen of the Robotic Les Paul, it mainly just tunes itself for you.
Then there’s the price. I’m not sure how much either of them cost, but I bet the VG Strat is at least half the price of the Les Paul and feels a lot better than the LP as well.
