gibson sg

Should I be concerned with my Gibson SG Standard?
I bought a 2006 Gibson SG Standard. It’s in great condition except there is a crack on the top of the headstock that was professionally repaired. It started to snap due to tight strings. It’s noticeable but not extremely. The guitar still plays absolutely perfectly and sounds amazing. I bought it for $500. They sell for $1200 new. Should I be thrilled with my purchase at the price I got it or should I worry about this flaw?
Not exactly sure where this “crack” is, so maybe it wasn’t even an issue of tension. The guitar could have been dropped or damaged somehow
One thing I can assure you though, it wasn’t due to “tight strings”. If it is indeed a stress crack, it sounds more like someone messed with the truss rod and and bent the neck till the head snapped.
Or the wood could have warped due to weather humidity and age, which is most likely not the case since its only 4 years old.
That being said, there’s nothing you can really do at this point. However, if it seems to hold, and you like how the guitar plays, then don’t worry about it, you got it for a great price!
