gibson sg special faded electric
I’ve got the Budget but I don’t know, Gibson SG or a Fender Stratocaster?
I’m a beginner and I’ve saved enough money to buy one of these two:-

but What does a Whammy Bar do? Because I was thinking about the Gibson SG but I had a second thought because the SG doesn’t have one while the Strat has one.
And Please note that I’m a beginner, I mean haven’t touched a guitar yet!
Of the 2 the SG would have the better quality.
The whammy bar is not that important and you may not or really use it.
The whammy bar is the bar that is at the bridge of the guitar that you use with your right hand that gives off a certain sound. You will see the lead guitarist use it on the lead guitar solo in this video. = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvNOZegkVXo
