better guitar?

which guitar has a better sound for rock music the gibson sg special electric guitar or a gibson les paul? and does it sound a lot better or a little?

either guitar has a great rock sound. it really depends on what kind of amp you use to get the full potential. the les paul was made to accomodate many different styles. the SG was probably made for more rocky music but all it really is, is a les paul with a top cutaway. my personal favourite is the les paul. but SG’s are awesome as well….. ANGUS YOUNG FRIGGIN RULES!
