Is the Gibson Maestro SG Signature Series a good guitar?

I’m a novice at guitar, and was looking for my first electric.
On my searches, I came across a Gibson Maestro SG Signature Series. I don’t know much about manufacturers of guitars, but I heard Gibson was a good make.
Would this be a good choice of guitar?
If not, are there any alternatives?

The maestro SG is a great guitar!
However you can expect to shell out 3,000 or more for one.

I have a standard epiphone G-400 SG and its really good.
It was only $400.00
But I recommend looking at schecter. They have sexy guitars and are worth the price, I recommend getting a guitar with a floyd rose tremolo.
I Want one so bad!!!!
