gibson sg headstock
Are ordinary guitar wall hangers suitable for guitars which have a headstock which ‘kicks out’?
Hey. I recently bought a Gibson Sg Special….and I’m in love with it. Unfortunately I do not have enough floor space in my tiny room to accommodate a floor stand. This is why I’m going to buy a wall hanger.
I was just wondering, because the headstock of my guitar ‘kicks out’ and is not straight on the neck, I would be required to buy a ‘special’ kind of hanger.
Am I right in thinking that an ordinary hanger would do the job and hang my guitar safely?
Most guitar hangers hold the guitar a few inches from the wall. So, an angled headstock does not present a problem. I’ve got a Les Paul Custom and a Firebird V hanging on my wall right now. No trouble at all.
