gibson sg guitar review
Beginner Guitar: Fender Telecaster or Epiphone Les Paul or Epiphone/Gibson SG?

So, im looking for a nice beginner electric guitar that will last a looong while.. around 250 – 500. Im really small so i dont want anything weighing too heavy.

i like alternative (paramore, saosin) and Indie (like a modest mouse sort of sound) and id like to explore different types like blues, rock, punk rock.

i heard a fender telecaster is very adaptable to the type of music you’re playing, and thats a big plus for me. But the Les Paul/ SG seems like it would suit my alternative rock needs.

i also saw this Gretsch electromatic pro jet that looked pretty nice w/ good reviews but i dont think those are good for beginners. But if you think those are good for me, tell me :)

Gibson Epi…no doubt. I got a quilt top Les Paul and it’s wonderful. $400 at Guitar Center on sale. It’s a workhorse and versatile. The weight is less than an original Gibson LesPaul, yet heavy enough to let you know that it’s there. The action I believe is better than any Fender I’ve played thus far. GET THE GIBSON. DO IT NOW!!!!!!
