I’ve got an epiphone sg-400
I’m thinking about getting some new humbuckers and i found these
Gibson Angus Young Signature Humbucker
Does anyone know if they’re good?
I tend to play rock music if it makes a difference

Yeah theyre perfect for like any zeppelin or Ac/dc (youd never guess)
I tried out the guitar with them on and it was awesome
Although putting them on the epiphone is a bit weird. Personally id save up for a new guitar, no offense but with a sg-400 theres no point thinking about changing pickups.
Save up for maybe an gibson sg special then if you still want the pickups go for it

You wont get the sound the pickups should be giving because epiphones are made from different wood to gibsons and im guessing youve either got a bolt on neck or glues on. therefore you’ll also loose a lot of sustain.
