gibson semi hollow body guitar
can semi-hollow body guitar such as epiphone 335 dot play rockmusic,and if it does will the guitar sound good
i was wondering because i saw the oasis play their gigs using gibson and epiphone semi-hollow.
You can get some fantastic rock sounds using a semi-hollow body. When you play in front of a loud, distorted amp a semi-hollow will resonate and as a result you can get some fantastic sustain and feedback.
You do have to be careful about the feedback though. Because it feeds back so easily, it can get out of control.
I often play an Ibanez Artcore hollow-body with a loud rock band and I love the sound and feel.
