Gibson push / pull tone knobs, and other Gibson guitar accessories?
I will buy some parts for my guitar and I would like some advice. First Instead I'm looking in the 500K ohm potentiometer Gibson push / pull knobs. I know that change the tone of a single coil humbucker micro, but I was wondering I can replace two tone controls or just one. (My pick-up is a neck position and my position BurstBucker PAF Pro is a bridge, 1957) Secondly, what is the difference in former control knobs Gibson Les Paul and Gibson perloïde nickel buttons buttons buttons vintage silver perloïde adjustment? Thank you for responding
buttons do not change, the potentiometer and wiring do the job. You also need to rewire the guitar back in the truck. microphones are already coil-split "design" (p. 4 conductor cable pick up, 2 per coil) the "good" pot will allow Split / select coils, provided microphones are connected properly. the buttons do nothing, but give "handle" for pots. If in doubt, take it to a guitar technique, he can do for you
