I have a gibson Lespaul special guitar first edition. How can I find out how much it is worth???

Bought this guitar in the 50′s. It was the first lead guitar for Brenda Lee when she first started singing on Red Follie show way back when.
I tryed Gibson but no answer, Also e-bay no answer. who would know things like this???

gibson.com…should have a number on the back of the neck, if so you can ask them when it was made and how much it’s worth.. they will give you a history on it… my brother got one from this guy on the street and he found out what it was worth when he went online on there website.
