Gibson Flying V vs Explorer vs Les Paul vs SG..Is there a difference in sound?

They all use the same wood and pretty much the same pick-ups (in the standard version) So is there a difference in the way they sound?
Nahh. I have got a Dean Razorback (same shape as a V) and i can play sitting down. You just gotta use a strap.

You bet there is a difference.

Flying V is made out of Korina (mahogany neck), set-neck and a 24.75″ scale length

Explorer made out of Korina, mahogany, alder and maple (korina, mahogany or maple neck). Different humbuckers and sometimes P90′s.

Les Paul Mahogany body w\maple top multiple choices for pickups…

SG (solid guitar) is thinner and lighter than the LP.

All differences in wood choices, weight, hardware and pickups will make each guitar sound different…
