Which gibson guitar is better?

Now i play alot of Tool, alt. metal and hard rock. So which would fit the bill better, a Gibson Les Paul custom silverburst or Gibson SG standard?

The Les Paul, i don’t care what you play, SG’s are complete crap. The tone is muddy as and you don’t get the versatility of a Les Paul. However, I would recommend a PRS guitar over both of them, they have a beautiful, versatile sound and look gorgeous.
