I have a guitar that i bought it is an electric it looks exactly like a les paul jr but i dont know?

I just started playing a few months ago and im young, i bought a new electric and it looks exactly like a les paul jr from gibson it even had a gibson logo on the box but on the guitar it says maestro any clue about this guitar

After looking this up I an guessing that you have a knock off guitar or one made under licensing from Gibson.

A good thing to think about is the price; a Les Paul will set you back at least $1,000 new and that is the cheap ones. The better Pauls will run upwards of $10,000 each (top of the line Les Paul Ace Freyley edition Sunburst for instance.)
