tell me the difference between Fender Stratocaster, Telecaster, Gibson les paul and SG?

i want to know like what kind of music is more suitable for each and stuff like that.. i play mostly rock and blues…

love them blues….

thank you.

First, the B.S.:

Fender Stratocaster – Rock Leads, easiest to play. Best for blues. Hendrix

Telecaster – More jangly, rhythm, country, rockabilly. Andy Summers

Gibson les paul – Rock leads, more sustain. Jimmy Page

SG – Rock mainstream. Angus Young.

But all that’s generalization. You can play any type of music on any of these guitars. Your amp and playing style will have more influence on the sound. The most important thing is the sound, tuning and playability of the ACTUAL guitar you find. Not the brand or model. If you’re buying new or used, play and play until you find one that feels good. If buying online, get an Epiphone, Ibanez or other budget model, ‘cos the big names frequently sell lots of lemons.
