Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded, or a Fender American Standard Telecaster. Which should i get?

I like melodic rock, metal, stuff like radiohead, or dimmu borgir, or opeth, or pink floyd. any help.

gibson has the sound you need but you can tweek any guitar to sound like you want fender is lighter and teles are set for rock not metal i say gibson flyin v[les paull].
