and then the one that everyone talks about being 1300 dollars or so for the Gibson Les Paul Studio
is there any sound differences?
this guitar has a different, more Matte finish, where the Studio *(For 1399.00$) has a skiny finish. Also, It is not available in any colors, reducing its price. It has a couple of fashion downs, but it would be fine, its pretty good looking, and the differences are cosmetic. ONE DIFFERENCE. There will be a tone difference. The covered pickups offer a tiny bit more depth and body, and much better tone, warmer and deeper. I would buy some pickup covers (You can screw them on) and that would give identical sound–They are the same humbuckers i believe.
