gibson hummingbird acoustic
Help me find information on my guitar?
My boyfriend has an acoustic guitar (Global) that was given to him as a hand-me-down from his grandma. He got a new acoustic and wants to give me this one. I know that Global was a cheap Asian-made mass-produced guitar company and that little information is available, but I figured I’d ask anyway.
I believe its a copy of the Gibson hummingbird acoustic, but am having trouble finding anything about it. Here are some pictures:

Byrde94 – No worries, I took the guitar from my boyfriend while he was putting new strings on it and took some pictures, lol. (It sounds great, but isn’t too appealing to look at aside from the pickguard.. might get it re-finished).
It’s a copy of the Gibson Dove, a sister to the Hummingbird.
And, I’d get some strings on it soon,
It’s not good for the top of the guitar, or the neck, to not have any tension on them for a long time.
That’s all I can tell you.
I’ve never seen one.
