Tim Belcher started game one for the Dodgers. Everyone thinks it was Hershiser, but he didn’t start until Game 2. Lasorda gave Belcher the nod cuz he wanted to save Hershiser for another game. I remember the game well cuz they killed my team that year and they keep showing that damn tape…
