gibson guitars value
gibson robot or gibson studio?????

ok guys this is another one of my choice making questions again.
i found this really awsome gibson studio guitar i want and love everything about it and i also found this gibson robot guitar for really really cheap but i hate the color well the color is blue burst. and i thought well the guitar itself besides the color would be awsome and there sold out almost everywhere in the united states soooo keep it for the value….but i would hate to have a guitar i dont like or do i just think i wont like it???

does color matter????
i want a white one!!

The color doesn’t matter until you decide to sell the guitar 30 years later and anything that is not original means $2000 less for you. But if you intend to keep that guitar then you can take it to a decent shop and have guys sand off the blue finish and paint it white – just make sure they REALLY know their Gibsons because a cheap, bad finish will hurt the sound and make it duller.
The robot guitar is a lousy fad, I believe, but it might be a collector item one day, so keep it, who cares about the color (well – you will, one day when you sell it for an obscene amount of money).
