Tuner Bushings on Acostic Guitar?

Hopefully you can provide an answer to my question. Recently I purchased a new Martin 000-28 EC guitar and when I removed the strings so I could replace them and give the guitar a good cleaning half of the bushings fell out when I turned the guitar over to clean and polish the back of the guitar, is this typical; I though the bushings were supposed to be pressed in? I know that on my other threes guitars: Guild D25, Gibson ES335, and Fender Strat that this has never happened, Is this something I need to be concerned with on my Martin Guitar?

I never heard of that problem. You should ask about it at the umgf website. That is the unofficial martin guitar forum. Those guys know everything about Martin guitars.
