Have you ever played a guild acoustic guitar? and do they compare with gibson, taylor, and martins?

is it feasible to think a guild can compare with the others?

As of about 2003 Guild was purchased by the Fender corporation. So now Guild is made by Fender. I own a very nice Guild guitar. All wooden guitars are different even within the same product line because of different wood in the guitars. You have to actually play the guitars to see what you think and you should have somebody else play it while you listen to it as well because you won’t hear what the listener will hear while you play it. Not all Taylor or Martin guitars are created equal – I’ve seen some Martin guitars that weren’t that good and some of the Taylor guitars weren’t that good. You have to try them out to know for sure – its the only way. I don’t own any Gibson acoustic guitars but a lot of them are very nice. I own several Gibson electric guitars – the Les Paul Custom is my favorite electric guitar.
