Can you put a gibson pickup on a fender guitar?

I want to get the Gibson Dirty Fingers pick up but i have a strat fender, like i can get the shape of the pickup cut out but will it work?

The short answer is yes you can get the pickup cavity routed out to accept a Gibson pickup, but before undertaking something as radical and expensive you might want to check out some of the stacked humbuckers that would give pretty much the same sound without having to modify the guitar to fit them in. Check out Dimarzio and Bill Lawrence pickups, they make a stacked humbucker for Strats. That way the guitar would still look normal if you ever wanted to sell it.
