Is the Gibson SG faded worth it?
This Chirstmas/my birthday, my dad plans on getting me a new guitar because I’ve been playing an a Squier for almost 2 years. I’ve heard great stuff about the Gibson SG Special Faded, but I’ve also heard that it’s a piece of crap with Gibson on the headstock. Am I better off getting this or an Epiphone guitar (any one under $600)? If so, which one?
I like to play Rock, but I dabble in Blues and Metal too. It will be running through a Vox AD15VT. Keep in mind this is just as a home use guitar for practice, so weight isn’t any kind of issue.
the faded series is not very good. if you can get a regular sg, go for it. otherwise the epi is more worth your money. both epi and sg faded are completely machine made so does it really metter where its made? so any way dont get an sg faded, they suck
