gibson faded sg special electric guitar
Hi just wondering if you guys can help me Im looking to buy my second guitar and like these?
http://www.guitar.co.uk/guitars/electric/722-gibson_sg_special and http://www.guitar.co.uk/guitars/electric/723-gibson_sg_special_faded_electric_guitar and was wondering what the difference between these are? Im quite new to the guitar world and am looking to play like Blink 182 music.
So far as I know, it’s just the finish that’s different. The faded one has a pseudo ‘worn-in’ feel that’s not that nice to hold, I tried one (in Merchant City Music, as it happens) and it felt like someone had been at it with the sandpaper.
At this price for a guitar, you MUST try before you buy, and while I’m not that well up on guitar prices right now, they both seem a bit dear for SG Specials. I remember recently seeing them at the £500 mark.
